This is the ITFFL all-time record book, and it is the post you are supposed to bookmark and then link at somebody in the group chat in November when they claim they have never finished below sixth.
Everything below comes from six complete seasons of league data, 2020 through 2025, pulled straight from the league's own records. Before the first table, the one definition that decides how you read all of them: the ordinal next to a manager's name is their regular-season standing, ordered by record. It is not where they placed in the playoffs. Championships come out of the winners bracket and live in their own column. Those two things disagree so violently in this league that the disagreement is arguably the most important fact in the book.
Two more warnings. Six seasons of twelve teams is a small dataset, so some of what follows is a real record and some of it is one person having one season; we flag which is which as we go. And the 2020 regular season was 13 games while every year since has been 14, so raw win totals and raw point totals do not cross that line cleanly. Per-game columns exist wherever that matters.
One bookkeeping note. A manager who renamed their team partway through the league's history was previously showing up as two separate people in the raw export. Those two records have been merged into one here, which is why the league's all-time manager count is 22 rather than 23 and why ITFFLGOAT now shows six seasons instead of five. Every table below is built from the merged data.
Champions and their regular-season seed
Five different champions in six years. The seed column is the one that starts arguments.

Five of the six ITFFL champions did not have the league's best regular-season record. The average champion has come from the 4.33 seed. Only 2025 saw the top seed close it out. The 2020 winner was an 8-seed at 5-8 who happened to score the fourth-most points in the league that year, which is the polite way of saying they were better than their record and the bracket finally agreed. The 2022 winner was a 7-seed at 7-7 who scored ninth-most, which is not polite in any way.
Six ITFFL regular seasons have crowned six different top seeds. Exactly one of them was still standing at the end. If the regular season were a real filter, that number would not be one.
The season scoring leader has done marginally better than the top seed: highest scorer won the title twice, in 2023 and 2025. Two out of six is still not a filter. The longer version of that argument lives in why the ITFFL regular season is a lie.

Best career average finish among managers with three or more seasons: End Of Story at 4.50. Fighting Armadillos are second at 5.00 and ITFFLGOAT third at 5.33. Worst in that same group is Football Enthusiasts at 7.67, who also own a championship and a top seed, which is the record book's way of telling you average finish is not the whole story. Among everyone with at least two seasons, Brancho Country's 9.50 is the low mark on n=2, so hold it loosely.
Fighting Armadillos lead career scoring with 9593.12 points, with ITFFLGOAT second at 9435.50 and Any Given Sontag third at 9343.34. That table is mostly a tenure table, though: everybody in the top seven has played all six seasons, and the per-game column in the career table is the fairer comparison.
Top-3 and bottom-3 finishes

End Of Story owns the top-3 record outright with four, and every single one of them was literally third place — 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025. Add the 2022 fourth and you get five seasons of standing just outside the door, plus one 11th in 2024 that everyone has agreed to stop bringing up.
The most-bottom-3 mark is a three-way tie at two apiece: purplepigs (2020, 2021), Hollywood Home Team (2022, 2023) and Football Enthusiasts (2022, 2025). Hollywood Home Team are the only manager with two of each, a genuinely impressive commitment to volatility.
The quietest record in the book belongs to ITFFLGOAT: six seasons, zero bottom-3 finishes, and a worst-ever standing of 9th. No other manager who has played all six years has a floor better than 10th. Athletic Supporters have a better floor still — 4, 5, 8, 5, never top-3 and never bottom-3 — but over four seasons and not since 2023. Four managers have neither a top-3 nor a bottom-3 to their name: Athletic Supporters, c3pipes, Just Win Maybe and One And Done. Three of those are one-season sample sizes.
Best and worst single seasons
The extremes, by record and by points. Remember the era split: 2020 was 13 games, 2021 onward is 14.

Two rows there deserve a second read. Fighting Armadillos went 3-11 in 2021 while scoring the fourth-most points in the league. That is the unluckiest season in the record book and it is not close. Three years later they won the title. Fantasy football is a cruel and stupid game and we all keep signing up.
The mirror image is Howell's Pals in 2024: a 10-4 top seed built on 1388.80 points, eleventh of twelve in scoring. Same league, same year, opposite luck — and the title went to the fourth seed.
Highest and lowest season point totals

Hollywood Home Team's 1828.76 in 2021 is the all-time raw high and it did not win a title. On a per-game basis the leader is actually Any Given Sontag's undefeated 2020 at 131.84, because that was a 13-game season. That one did not win a title either.

purplepigs' 1256.40 in 2020 is the lowest raw total, but on a per-game basis Blue's 92.81 in 2021 is the true floor. And the strangest line in either table is Howell's Pals at number 10 on the lowest list — while going 10-4 and taking the top seed. That is the single loudest piece of evidence in this whole book that the regular-season standings measure schedule as much as roster.
Longest-tenured managers and one-season cameos
Seven managers have played all six seasons. Nine have played exactly one.

The seven-manager core is the only group in this book whose numbers carry any weight, and even those are n=6. Everything attached to the nine one-season names is n=1, including the flattering entries. Here they are, ranked by their one and only finish.

Read that table as trivia, not as a leaderboard. jagmancctx has the best career average finish in league history at 1.00 and it means nothing: one season, an 11-3 top seed, then gone. Sherlock Mahomes at 2.00 is the same story with a 10-4. c3pipes hold the lowest career average draft slot at 1.0, which is what happens when your only season starts with the first overall pick; they finished 7th. Draft slot is not destiny, a point the draft slot breakdown makes at length with n=6 per slot and a lot of hedging.
The biggest single conclusion in this book is that regular-season excellence and trophies have very little to do with each other in ITFFL. The two best average finishes among managers who have never left — End Of Story at 4.50 and ITFFLGOAT at 5.33 — belong to managers with zero titles between them across twelve combined seasons. Meanwhile Any Given Sontag owns two titles, the only 13-0 season and a 4-10 last place. That argument gets its own post: best manager vs. most trophies.
The pick'em angle: what a six-year record book is actually for
A record book is not nostalgia, it is calibration. And the calibration lesson here transfers straight to a pick'em pool.
Look at what six years of ITFFL actually establishes. The best regular-season team has won the title once in six tries. The highest scorer has won it twice in six. The average champion's seed is 4.33. Every one of those edges is smaller than your gut assumes. Your gut, watching a 13-0 team in 2020, would have taken that team to win it all. Your gut was wrong and this page is the receipt.
The pick'em version is identical: the team that looks best is favoured for a reason, but "favoured" and "lock" are separated by a number, and the number is usually smaller than the story. Survivor pools eat people alive on exactly this. So do brackets. So does taking the top seed to win your fantasy league.
The fix is the same in both places and it is boring: track actual hit rates instead of remembering the vivid ones. That is what the DaqsPickEm leaderboard is for, and it is why the statistics page sits right next to it.
Plenty of this can change in one season, which is the point of publishing it now. End Of Story is one title from turning the league's longest-running joke into a legacy. ITFFLGOAT is one from making "never worse than 9th" sound like a plan instead of an alibi. Any Given Sontag is one from putting real daylight between themselves and the field.
